It doesn’t seem like the right time to buy. But that’s when you should be buying- when everyone else is running scared. It’s bizarre how this very simple lesson is extremely hard to learn. Whether it is buying stocks or buying real estate, the majority only seem to want to make a purchase when everyone else is already, driving prices up to ridiculous heights and causing many to become financially crippled.

For those of you in Ohio, you should get in touch with Cecilia Sherrard, a Cleveland Ohio Realtor. She knows the market well and keeps an Ohio Real Estate Blog and Homes.

Still not convinced? This statement (cnnmoney) was made by a longtime broker in Colorado Springs, “Every decade it happens for a year if we’re lucky. Then it’s a seller’s market for another nine years.” If you haven’t purchased a home, you definitely should own now.

Don’t wait until Mother’s Day to call home. If you’re going to call, make a call even before “the day” as those of us who are mothers will always want to hear from our children and could really care less what day it is.

In fact, I wouldn’t even know Mother’s day is approaching except for all those commercials and advertisements reminding everyone it’s Mother’s day. Why should Mothers and Fathers only have one day to celebrate, really.

Call home and send the bill to your parents who will only be too happy to pay for it. Trust me! But while you’re at it, if you really want to make them really really happy, make sure you’ve done a little checking on how much it actually takes to make a phone call, is there a time surcharge (peak, off-peak and all that nonsense), etc.

The best thing you can do of course is to just buy a phone card instead of using your landline carrier who will definitely charge higher prices. Then when you buy the card, make sure whether its per minute, or per call, or if there’s a minimum charge and all that other good/bad stuff.

And if you still don’t know where to buy cheap phone cards, just ask your parents by calling them and they’ll be happy to hear your voice and point you in the right direction and feel warm and fuzzy for having such caring, thoughtful children.

People have been talking about making money online since the birth of the blogs and the rise of blog celebrities. One of the ways apparently is to submit your articles into directories to get your blog noticed by others. It’s a bit like consigning your goods to a department store in addition to having them available in your flagship store.

Like what you see? Come over to my blog to see even more.

There are so many directories to submit to though its really confounding.

And of course, that’s only half the battle. You actually have to write a good article. Lastly, my friend said the key to getting noticed and read in a directory is to be really comprehensive and to have a title that doesn’t have to be second guessed like this one: Optimize Your Internet Settings.

I suppose the best titles will have to be lists though: Top 10 this, Top 10 that.  Even I fall for all those Top 10 things, no matter how mundane they are.
